We are situated over at No 6 36 on Kutty Gramani Street, which is right in the heart of the SM Garden area of RA Puram. Chennai is a big, sprawling place, but this little corner is where Ma Foi Consulting Solutions Limited has its home. The street itself is pretty typical for this part of Tamil Nadu. It’s often busy with people walking by and the occasional auto-rickshaw zooming past the front door. We have been here for a while now, and the office has become a very familiar place for all of us. It is not a shiny glass building like you see in the newer parts of the city. Instead, it is a practical, lived-in space that suits us just fine. Inside, things are kept simple. We have our desks, our chairs, and a few cupboards full of old files that have been there for years. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they hold a lot of memories. When the afternoon sun hits the street, it gets quite warm, so we keep the windows shut and the fans on high. You can hear the hum of the city outside, but it becomes background noise after a while. We aren't here to make any grand statements. We just show up every morning, unlock the door, and get to work on whatever is on our desks. It’s a local business run by local people who know the neighborhood and the city well. We like the rhythm of RA Puram and being part of the daily life here on Kutty Gramani Street.
