M S Zhejiang Dengli Chennai is right on Perumal Kovil Street in West Saidapet. Our address is 11/5, and it’s a typical Chennai street with a lot of life and noise. Saidapet is one of those places that feels very traditional but also very busy at the same time. The office itself is quite basic. We have a few rooms where we handle our daily business, and it gets quite warm during the afternoons. We don't have any of those modern office features you see in the big IT parks. It’s just a ground-floor space where we keep our files and meet for work. Perumal Kovil Street is always active, so there’s always something to look at out the window when we take a break. We’ve been here for some time now and have gotten used to the pace of this neighborhood. Most of the staff comes in early to beat the worst of the heat. We drink a lot of coffee and try to stay on top of our tasks. It’s a humble setup, but it works for us. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy lobby or professional receptionists. You just walk in and see us working. It feels very local and honest. We just do our bit every day and then head home through the crowded Chennai streets, hoping the traffic isn't too bad.
