We’ve been working out of this spot for a long time. It’s not a big shiny office. It’s more of a workspace where we figure things out and deal with the heat. In Chennai, the air conditioning is something everyone thinks about, so we stay pretty occupied. We aren't the type of company that has a big sales team or a lot of brochures. We just talk to people who come by our place on Main Street. The neighborhood of Ayanavaram is where we belong. We know the streets and we know how the local buildings are put together. M H Lulla is just a name on the door, really. Behind it, it’s just us working with tools and plans. We don't have any grand statements to make. We just focus on the systems we are designing. Sometimes the office is a bit messy with blueprints and parts, but that’s how we work. We don't worry about being polished. We just worry about getting the job done right so the air stays cool. It’s practical work for a hot city, and we’ve been doing it this way for years. That is just how it is here. We like the work and the people we meet on Main Street.
