Launchpad

We are located at T.N.R. Villa, which we call Rakshnnas, over on Vannier Street in Choolaimedu. Our office is on the first floor, Door No. F1. It’s a busy part of Chennai, and the street outside is always full of bikes and people going to the shops. Launchpad isn't a big corporate office with glass walls. It’s a converted space in a residential building, so it feels more like a home than a workplace. We have a few desks set up and some chairs that have seen better days. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit steep, so we always tell people to watch their step. Being in Choolaimedu means we are close to everything, but it also means it’s never really quiet. We can hear the traffic and the vendors shouting from the street while we work. We spend our days mostly on the computer or meeting with people who have new ideas they want to start. It’s a bit messy sometimes with wires and notebooks everywhere, but we know where everything is. We don’t have a big sign outside, just a small one near the gate. We drink a lot of coffee to keep going through the afternoon heat. It’s just a handful of us working here, trying to get things off the ground. We don’t have a fancy mission or a polished way of talking. We just show up and do the work every day.
