We are over at number 43 in the Sidco Estate. It is an older industrial area, but it works for what we do. Precision work means we have to pay a bit more attention to the small details than some of the bigger casting shops around here. The machines are always running and we spend a lot of time looking at blueprints or checking measurements with our tools. It isn't a very large space, so things can get a bit tight when we have a lot of materials arriving. We have been in this spot for a good while. The Sidco Estate has its own rhythm. You see the same faces every morning at the gates. We don't really do much in the way of advertising or anything like that. Most people who need something made just know where to find us. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy with the work to worry about that. It is mostly just us and the machines from eight in the morning until we finish up. Sometimes the rain makes a lot of noise on the roof and we have to talk louder, but you get used to it. It is a steady job and we take it one day at a time. No big corporate meetings here, just a lot of focus on the metal on the bench and making sure we get the sizes right before the day ends.
