Kumaravel Sign

We have been here at No-57 on Thangappa Avenue for a while now. If you know Guduvanchery, you know this part of town gets a bit busy during the afternoons. Our shop, Kumaravel Sign, isn't anything fancy to look at from the outside, but we stay busy with the work coming in. There is usually a pile of materials in the corner and the sound of the cutters going most of the day. Some mornings it is just me opening up the shutters and getting the dust off the tables before the heat starts to pick up. We mostly just focus on getting the signs done right so they look okay when they go up. People stop by and ask for things, and we try to get to them when we can. Sometimes the coffee guy comes around and we take a break. It's a small place, really. We've got our tools and our space, and that's about it. Thangappa Avenue is a decent spot for us because people can find us easily enough without too much trouble. We don't have a big front office or anything like that. It's more of a workshop where we spend our hours making things. The floor usually has bits of vinyl or metal scraps lying around until we clean up at the end of the week. It's just how a sign shop usually looks when work is actually happening. We're here most days from the morning until it gets dark outside.
