Our food business is based at 6/80 Venketraman Nagar, right on Station Road in Korattur. It’s a lively spot because of the train station nearby. There is always a lot of foot traffic and people rushing to catch their commute. We start our work early, usually before the sun is fully up, to get things ready for the day. The kitchen gets hot and the smells of whatever we are preparing drift out onto the sidewalk. We don’t have a big dining area or fancy decor. It’s more of a functional space where we focus on the food itself. The crates come in, we sort through the ingredients, and the work begins. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the narrow street for a minute, which causes a bit of a stir with the neighbors. We’ve been here in Korattur for a while and the locals know our face. We don't spend money on big ads or marketing. We just make sure the bags are packed and the orders are ready when people show up. It's a lot of standing on your feet all day and moving heavy pots or boxes. The walls have a few marks from the steam, and the floor is always being mopped to keep it clean. It’s honest work and keeps us busy from morning till night. We just focus on getting the food done right and out the door.
