Our office is located at Sree Indira, specifically Flat 1 at Number 45 on 9th Street in M Block, Anna Nagar East. It is a nice, quiet street with plenty of trees, which makes the walk to work quite pleasant. Shantanu Kaushik Konwar is the one who mostly looks after things here. We do consulting work, which basically means we sit at our desks and figure out problems for our clients. The office is small and feels a bit like a home, which we actually prefer over a cold corporate space. We have bookshelves lined with old manuals and a few plants on the windowsills that we sometimes forget to water. Most of our day is spent on the computer or having small meetings around the one main table we have. We do not wear suits or have big formal presentations. We just talk through things and write down our findings. Chennai can get very hot, so we are thankful for the shade on this street. We have been at this address for a good while, and most people find us because a friend told them to come here. We do not spend money on big signs or advertisements. We just focus on the research and the reports that people ask us for. It is a calm way to work, and it allows us to really think about what we are doing.
