Kitchen Palaze

We are over in Vadapalani at the TNHB Complex on the 100 Feet Road. Our shop is at number 16. If you've ever driven down 100 Feet Road, you know the traffic is something else. It’s a constant stream of vehicles going past our front door. Kitchen Palaze is where we spend our time, mostly surrounded by chimneys, hobs, and various kitchen gadgets. The complex is an older one, managed by the housing board, so it has a very specific look to it. We aren't a high-end boutique; we’re a practical shop for people who need things for their homes. Most of our day is spent explaining how a particular stove works or helping someone figure out the dimensions for their new kitchen. It can get a bit cramped in here when we have a lot of stock delivered. We have to move things around just to make a path for people to walk. Vadapalani is a vibrant area, and being near the main road means we see all sorts of people. We’ve been here long enough to know the rhythms of the street, like when the traffic jams will start and when it’ll quiet down a little. We don’t go for anything fancy. We just keep the shop open, handle the inquiries, and try to make sure we have what people are looking for. It’s a simple business in a busy part of town. Sometimes we stand outside for a minute just to get some fresh air away from the stove displays.
