Kilpant Medical College

This place is right in the middle of Chennai, in the 600010 area. It is a big, busy spot where people are coming and going at all hours. We have been part of this medical college for a while, and it has always got something happening. The hallways are long and there are always students carrying books or people waiting in the corridors. Chennai weather is usually quite warm, so the fans are always spinning. It is not the quietest place to be, but that is expected when you are in a medical setting in a major city. We have different departments spread out across the grounds. Some of the buildings are quite old, with high ceilings and heavy doors. You can see the history of the place in the walls and the stone floors. We do not try to make it look like a private luxury hospital. It is a teaching college, so there is a lot of learning going on every single day. People come from all over Tamil Nadu to be here. We just go about our work, making sure things are where they need to be. It is a lot of walking, but we are used to it. The canteen is usually the heart of the place where everyone takes a break and talks. It is a functional, hardworking environment, and we are just some of the people who help keep the wheels turning day after day.
