Kani Agencies is tucked into Shop No.36 along Duraisamy Road in T Nagar. If you know the area, we’re right near the Duraisamy Subway, which means it gets pretty crowded when the trains are running and people are rushing to work. T Nagar is always a bit chaotic, and our little corner isn't much different. The shop itself is a bit cramped once we get all the stock in, but we make it work. We spend a lot of our morning just shifting things around to make space for the day. It’s not a polished showroom; it’s more of a working shop where we keep track of everything manually most of the time. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but nobody really has the time to stop and do that. We mostly just focus on the orders and making sure the inventory matches what we think we have. There’s a tea stall not far away where we usually grab something in the afternoon when things slow down for a minute. The noise from the subway is something you just stop hearing after a couple of weeks of working here. It’s a busy spot, and we’re just one small part of the street. We don’t try to be anything fancy, just a local agency doing its job every day. Sometimes the rain makes the road a mess, but we just keep the door clear and carry on.
