Kamalambal Catering

Kamalambal Catering operates out of Peravallur, specifically near the Kumaran Nagar Milk Depot in Ramanibai Colony. Being in Periyar Nagar means we are right in the middle of a busy residential area, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. Catering is a lot of work that people don't always see, mostly happening in the early hours of the morning when most people are still asleep. We handle the cooking for all sorts of gatherings, whether it's a small family lunch or something a bit bigger. We aren't a big factory or a high-end office; it’s a kitchen where we spend most of our time over large stoves. Our location at New No 5 is where all the prep happens, from chopping vegetables to packing up the containers for delivery. We’ve been doing this for a bit now, and we know our way around the local markets to get what we need. It gets hot and loud in the kitchen, but that's just part of the job. We don’t spend much time on fancy decorations or big speeches. We just focus on making sure the food is ready on time and gets to where it needs to go. It’s a simple setup, really. Just a group of people who know how to cook for a crowd and keep things moving. We’re just down the road from the milk depot if you’re looking for us. Sometimes it’s stressful, but we get it done.
