K Square Architects & Interiors

Our place is right on 7Rattan Bazaar Road. It’s usually pretty busy around here, which keeps things interesting. K Square Architects & Interiors started out because we just liked how buildings come together. Most days, we’re hunched over desks with pens and rulers, or sometimes just looking at the computer for too long. There’s always a bit of dust from the street and the sound of people walking by. We don’t have a big fancy lobby. Instead, there’s a couple of chairs that might be a bit old and a lot of paper rolls tucked in the corners. People come in and talk about what they want to do with their space, and we listen. Sometimes we agree right away, and other times we have to sketch things out five or six times until it looks right. It’s not always glamorous work. We spend a lot of time checking measurements and making sure the drawings actually work for the people who will live there. We deal with both the structural stuff and the inside bits where people actually spend their time. Sometimes the fans are a bit loud, but we’re used to it. We just keep doing the work, one drawing at a time. It’s a job we enjoy, even when the deadlines get a bit tight. If you drop by, you’ll probably find us mid-conversation about a wall or a window frame. That’s just how it goes at our office on Rattan Bazaar Road.
