Jeyam Driving School

We are based in Thiruvanmiyur, right in the Dhanam Complex on the first floor. If you know where the IDBI Bank is on East Coast Road, you can find us pretty easily. It gets busy around here, but that’s just how Chennai is. Most people come to us because they want to learn how to handle a car properly without getting nervous in the traffic. We spend a lot of our time out on the roads with learners. Sometimes the office is a bit quiet when everyone is out for lessons. We have been in this spot for a while now. Getting a license is a big deal for a lot of folks, so we just help them get through the paperwork and the actual driving part. It’s a small office, nothing fancy, just some desks and chairs where we sort out the schedules. We try to be flexible because everyone has work or college. The East Coast Road is a good place to start once someone gets the hang of the steering. You just walk up to the first floor and someone is usually there to talk about the classes. We don't do anything too complicated, just show people how the clutch and gears work until they feel okay on their own. It takes some patience, especially during the rush hours. We see a lot of different people every day, from young kids to older folks who finally decided to learn.
