We are located in Besant Nagar, which is one of the nicer parts of Chennai. Our address is 35th Cross Street, and you’ll find us at New No 19, which used to be S53. It’s an easy walk to the beach from here, which is great for a break in the evening. The office itself is in a residential-looking building, so it feels a bit like a home. We deal with international jobs and recruitment. People come in with their resumes looking for opportunities abroad. It’s a lot of paperwork, checking passports, and verifying certificates. We have a lot of filing cabinets because everything has to be kept in order. It’s a busy place, but we try not to let it get chaotic. The staff has been here for a long time, and we all know the routines by heart. We don't have a big corporate lobby. It’s more about the desks and the files. Sometimes we have people waiting in the hallway if it gets really crowded. We use simple fans and old air conditioners that hum quite loudly. It isn't a flashy place, but we’ve been here for years and people know where to find us. We just focus on getting people where they need to go and making sure the documents are right. That is what we do at Jerry Varghese International Ltd. It’s straightforward work that requires a lot of patience from everyone. We are usually here until late.
