Jeba Engineering Works

Starting early at 4/47/2 in Adhi Parasakthi Nagar West is how most days go for us. The shop floor is usually covered in metal shavings and oil by noon. It isn't a fancy place with air conditioning, but we have the machines that get the jobs done. People from around the neighborhood bring in parts that need fixing or things that need to be made from scratch. Some days are loud with the sound of grinding and welding, and other days are a bit slower. We spend a lot of time just looking at drawings and measuring stuff. It is honest work. The heat can get pretty bad in the afternoons, but that is just part of being in an engineering workshop. Most of the guys here have been working with their hands for years, so we know how the metal behaves under the tools. We don't have a big office or anything like that. Just a desk tucked in a corner where the paperwork sits. If someone stops by, they usually find us busy with a lathe or some other piece of equipment. Jeba Engineering Works has been here for a while now, and the neighbors know where to find the gate. Sometimes we grab tea from the stall nearby and talk about the current projects. It is just a small local spot where we handle whatever mechanical work comes through the door. We don't make a big fuss about things, just get to it. We are usually at the shop until six.
