Jayson Engineering & Mfg. Co.

Our workshop is at 307, Phase-I in the G.I.D.C. area of Naroda. We are quite close to the canal. It’s a heavy industrial zone, so there’s always a lot going on around us. You’ll hear the hum of factories and see trucks loading up all day long. Jayson Engineering is just one of many, but we’ve been here for years. The building is a bit gray, like most things in Naroda, but it’s solid. Inside, it’s mostly open space for the machines and the work. We have a small area near the entrance where we keep the files and take phone calls. It’s usually pretty loud, so we’ve learned to talk over the noise. The canal nearby brings a bit of a breeze sometimes, which is nice when it’s hot inside. We’ve got a small group of workers who have been with us for a long time. We aren’t a giant corporation; we’re just a manufacturing shop trying to stay busy. There’s always scrap metal in the corners and the smell of coolant in the air. We don’t have a front desk or a receptionist. If you walk in, you’ll probably find one of us with a wrench or looking at a drawing. It’s a practical environment for practical people. We just keep the machines running and get the orders out. It is simple work, but it keeps us on our toes every single day and that is enough for us.
