My name is Jaganathan and this shop has been my second home for quite some time now. You can find me over at No 199/75 on G A Road in Old Washermanpet. It is right in the heart of Chennai, 600021. If you are looking for the place, it is pretty easy to spot because we are right opposite the Arihant Show Room. That is a big landmark around here so most people use it to find their way. Old Washermanpet is a crowded area, always full of people moving around and horns honking. It can get a bit loud, especially in the afternoons. I usually sit near the front where I can see what is happening on the street. The shop itself is simple, nothing like those big shiny malls you see in other parts of the city. We have things stacked up and it might look a bit messy to someone else, but I know exactly where everything is. My family has been around this part of Chennai for ages. The humid weather here is something you just get used to after a while. I spend most of my mornings cleaning up and then waiting for the day to really start. It is not a glamorous life, but it is a steady one. Sometimes I take a break and look out at the traffic on G A Road. It never seems to stop and there is always someone passing by on their way somewhere else.
