J V College Of Nursing is located at No 59 and 60 on 3rd Street in Padi. This part of Chennai is quite industrial and busy, so there is always a lot of movement around the college. We are tucked away a bit on 3rd Street, which helps keep the noise from the main roads down just a little. The college is a place where people are serious about their nursing studies, so you often see students huddled over textbooks or practicing their skills in the labs. It is not a massive campus with fields and gardens; it is more of a functional city building where every inch of space is used for something important. The mornings are usually the busiest when everyone arrives at once, and the local tea shops nearby get a lot of business from our staff and students. Chennai weather is always humid, so the fans are a constant background hum in every room. We have been operating in Padi for a while, and we have seen the area change quite a bit as more businesses move in. Our daily routine is pretty set, from the first bell to the final lecture. We focus on the practical side of things because that is what nursing is all about. It is just a group of people working together to make sure the students are prepared for their exams and their future jobs in hospitals.
