J R Enterprises has been around Mylapore for quite some time. We are situated on Arundel Street, right near Kacheri Road. Our address changed from old number 30 to new number 40, but we are still in the same spot. It’s a bit of an old-school neighborhood and we fit right in. We deal with various items and supplies that people in this area need. The shop isn't anything fancy, just a place where we keep our stock and talk to customers. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy outside with the temple crowds and the local traffic, especially near the Kacheri Road junction. We’ve grown used to it over the years. We aren't the type to spend money on flashy signs or advertisements. Word of mouth usually brings people to us. We just try to keep things organized and help out whoever walks through the door. It’s a family-style environment here, even if we aren't all related. We know where everything is kept, though it might look a bit packed to an outsider. Working in Mylapore has its own charm because you get to meet all sorts of people. We focus on getting the orders right and making sure we have what people are looking for. It’s a steady pace most days. We're usually open early and stay until the evening rush starts to die down. It’s just how we run things every day and we plan to stay here on Arundel Street.
