Iyer S Kitchen Caterer

We are located at No 28 on South K R Koil Street in West Mambalam. It's a busy little area, especially in the mornings when people are heading to the temple or work. We’ve been operating Iyer S Kitchen Caterer from this spot for some time now. It is a humble setup, nothing too flashy or modern. We spend most of our time in the kitchen preparing meals for different functions people have in the area. West Mambalam is the kind of place where everyone knows everyone, so we see a lot of the same faces coming through our door. We do a lot of traditional South Indian cooking here. The smells of sambar and rasam are usually coming from our kitchen most of the day. It’s hard work being on your feet all day, but we like the routine of it. We handle everything from small family lunches to some of the bigger weddings in the neighborhood. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic when we have three different orders all due at once, but we always find a way to get the food out. We don't have a big corporate team or fancy marketing, just a few of us who know how to cook. People usually just drop by the shop to discuss what they need for their upcoming events. It’s often easier to talk in person than over the phone anyway. We just want to make decent food that people enjoy eating. It keeps us going every day.
