Our office is located in West Mambalam, which is a busy part of Chennai. We are in the Mahalakshmi Flats on Lakeview Road, specifically unit number 7 in Stage 1. It’s more of a residential building than a commercial one, which makes the atmosphere feel a bit more relaxed. We’ve been here for a while and the neighbors are used to us coming and going. The work we do is pretty standard office stuff, though it keeps us busy from morning until evening. You can usually hear the sounds of the street and the birds from the trees outside. It’s a narrow road, so parking can be a bit of a challenge if you’re visiting. We don’t have a big corporate sign out front, just a small nameplate. Inside, it’s mostly desks, chairs, and a few filing cabinets. We take our tea breaks together and talk about the news or the weather. It’s a simple setup. We don’t go in for big speeches about what we do; we just try to be reliable and get our tasks finished. The humidity in Chennai can be tough, but we have our fans and the occasional breeze from the lake area nearby. It’s a comfortable enough place to spend the day. Most of us live in the area, so the commute isn't too bad compared to other parts of the city. We just do our work and then head home.
