Inmas Impex

Inmas Impex is located at 16, Pillayar Koil Street in Teynampet. It’s an old neighborhood with a lot of character, and we’ve been tucked away on this street for quite a while now. The building is one of those older structures where the hallways are narrow and the ceilings are high. We do a lot of import and export work, mostly focusing on goods that move through the nearby port. Our office is usually a mess of samples and shipping documents. I’ve tried to organize the files a dozen times, but they always end up in piles again. The street outside is usually crowded with people going to the temple or the local shops, so there’s always something to look at out the window. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that; it’s mostly just us handling the day-to-day operations. We know the regular delivery guys by name, and they usually stop for a quick chat. Sometimes the humidity in Chennai gets to be too much, so we keep the fans running at full speed all day. We just focus on getting the goods from point A to point B without any major disasters. It’s simple work in a busy part of the city, and we’re quite content with how things are running right now. We usually keep a box of biscuits on the table for whenever someone gets hungry. It’s the little things that make the long hours feel shorter.
