Our office is tucked away in G-1, Block 2 of Jins Avenue, on Kalaivanar Salai in Chitlapakam. We are on the ground floor, which makes it easy for people to find us here in Chennai-64. Working for Ing Vysya Life Insurance Comapny Ltd means we spend a lot of time with folders and forms. It’s not the most glamorous job in the world, but it keeps us busy. We have a few desks and some chairs for when people come in to talk about their policies. The air conditioner works most of the time, which is a relief given how hot it gets in Chennai. We don't have any big posters or fancy slogans on the walls. It’s just a functional space. We handle the life insurance side of things, so we talk to a lot of families. We aren't trying to sell anyone something they don't need. We just explain the paperwork as clearly as we can. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish up the filing, but we don't mind. The building itself is quite ordinary. We know the security guard and the people in the other blocks. It’s a very steady, predictable kind of place to work. We just show up, do the work, and help out the folks who have questions about their coverage. It’s straightforward and honest. We keep it simple because that’s what people usually prefer.
