About Indo Burma Hardware – Construction Equipment & Machinery in Chennai
We've been here on Mannady Street for a long time now. People usually end up at Indo Burma Hardware when they've been looking for a specific bolt or tool and haven't had much luck at the bigger stores. Parrys is a busy place, and our shop is tucked right in at No. 39. It gets crowded during the day, but that's just how the neighborhood is. We've got piles of stuff in stock. Screws, tools, bits of metal, the usual things you'd expect. Sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what you need because there’s so much packed in here. My father used to handle things, and now we just keep it going. It’s a straightforward shop. No fancy displays. If you come by, you’ll see us sorting through inventory or helping someone figure out a size. The traffic around here is a headache in the afternoons. But we like it here. We know the other shop owners and the people who walk past. It’s not a big corporate store. It’s just us, sitting among the boxes. Sometimes the floor gets a bit dusty from all the heavy lifting, but we try to keep it organized enough. The area is always loud with carts and people shouting. Sometimes we take a break and get tea from the stall at the corner. My hands are usually a bit dirty from moving metal parts around. Most people know we're here because they've seen the sign over the years. It’s a bit of a maze in here with all the boxes stacked up.
