Indian Overseas Bank

Our location is B 2 Lakshya Van 1. It’s on South Mada Street in Srinagar Colony, Chennai 600 015. Indian Overseas Bank is run from here. The street is quite famous in this part of Chennai. It can be very busy, especially in the mornings when everyone is heading to work. Lakshya Van 1 is a sturdy building. Our office is on one of the lower floors. It’s a basic setup with desks and chairs. We have a lot of cupboards for all the files we have to keep. The humidity in Chennai can be tough, so we rely on the air conditioning to keep us going. We spend most of our time at our desks, typing away or checking documents. It’s not an exciting life, but it’s steady. We know the local shops and the people who walk past every day. It feels like we are part of the neighborhood. We don't have any flashy signs or expensive decorations. It’s just a place of work. We come in, do what needs to be done, and then lock up for the day. Srinagar Colony is a nice area with a lot of history. We are just a small part of that. It keeps us busy and the time goes by fast. There’s no corporate polish here, just honest people doing their jobs on South Mada Street.
