Ind Bank Merchant Banking Services operates out of Rams Apartments on Second Main Road. If you know the area, you know it’s a mix of old and new buildings. Our address is Flat 15, which used to be number 42 but now it’s 95. It gets a bit confusing for delivery people sometimes. The office is right there in the middle of a residential block, so it’s got a very local, lived-in feel to it. We don't have a massive lobby or security guards in uniforms. It’s just an apartment where we’ve set up our desks and computers to handle banking and merchant services. There are stacks of files everywhere because banking involves a lot of paper, no matter how much people talk about going digital. We spend a lot of time on the phone or going through spreadsheets. The noise from Second Main Road is always there in the background, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We take our lunch breaks in the small kitchen or head out to one of the nearby spots. It’s a very straightforward way of working. No one here tries to sound more important than they are. We just have a job to do, helping people with their financial needs and keeping the records straight. It’s a small team, and we’ve all been working together in this flat for a good while.
