Igate

Igate is also located in Chennai at Block No 6, Door No 1 in Barracks Land Village, Pattalam. It’s an older part of the city, and the area has a lot of character and history. The building we are in is quite old and has that classic Chennai architecture style. We are on the first floor. The rooms have high ceilings which helps a bit with the heat, though we still rely heavily on the fans to keep us cool. Pattalam is a busy place with narrow streets and a lot of local shops everywhere. It can be quite a challenge to navigate if you aren't used to the area. Our office is a simple one. We have a few desks pushed together and some old cupboards for filing all our documents. It’s not the most modern space, but it works fine for us. We spend a lot of our time dealing with paperwork and coordinating with the other locations. The atmosphere is pretty quiet most of the day. We have a small tea break in the afternoon which is a bit of a tradition for the team here. You can hear the sounds of the street below, which keeps us connected to the neighborhood. We don't have any corporate branding on the walls or a fancy reception. We are just here doing our jobs in this part of Chennai. It’s a straightforward, no-nonsense kind of place where we show up and work.
