Id Tag Systems

Started the shop at Saligramam on the first floor. No. 42 is easy to find if you know 80 Feet Road. I usually get here by nine in the morning. The sun hits the front window early. People come in for small tags and sometimes bigger orders for their companies. It’s mostly just me and a couple of others working here. We have the machines running most of the day. The noise is something you get used to after a few weeks. Sometimes the traffic outside is so loud I can't even hear the phone ringing. Saligramam has changed a lot lately with new buildings, but our corner stays the same. We handle a lot of plastic and metal bits. My hands are usually stained with ink or something from the engraver. I drink tea twice a day from the stall downstairs. The stairs are narrow so you have to watch your step when you come up. We don't have a big fancy sign outside, just the name. Sometimes the printer acts up and I have to spend an hour fixing it myself. That’s just how it goes here. People drop by with sketches or just a rough idea in their head. We try to get things done as they come in. It’s a small space but it works for what we do. I like being on the first floor because I can see the street. It gets dusty though. I spend a lot of time cleaning the glass cases. It's not glamorous work but it keeps us busy every day.
