We are based in Chennai at H No 150, Block B2 in the Kendriya Vihar area. It is situated on the busy Poonamalle High Road, which everyone knows is a main artery of the city. We specifically handle home loans here, so our day is mostly filled with property papers, legal documents, and talking to people about their houses. The office is out in Thiruverkadu Post, and it can be a bit of a drive for some of us, but we are used to the Chennai traffic by now. The weather is usually quite humid, so we are thankful for the fans and the cool water cooler in the corner. We have a lot of files stacked up because home loans require so many signatures and copies of things. It is a practical office without much decoration. We sit at our desks and go through the applications one by one. Sometimes people come in feeling a bit stressed about their paperwork, and we just sit with them and go over the details. The local area has changed a lot lately with more buildings going up. We see the progress happening right outside our doors. By the time the sun goes down, we are usually finishing up the last of the digital entries. It is a lot of repetitive work, but it is what we do here in our little corner of Velappan Chavady.
