Icfai Business School Research Center

Our office for the Icfai Business School Research Center is in Chennai. Specifically, we are over at Balalji Nagar in the Royapettah area. The address is No 10 37 Masilamani Road. We are on the third floor of the Marine Apartments, in Flat C 3. It is a quiet enough spot considering how busy Chennai usually gets. We have been working out of this flat for a while. It feels more like a home than a big corporate office, which is fine by us. There are a few desks and some shelves full of papers and books. We spend most of our time here looking into things and writing stuff down. It is a small team and we know each other well. Sometimes the lift in the building is a bit slow, so we just take the stairs to the third floor. Royapettah is a good place to be because everything is close by. We have some local tea stalls nearby where we go for breaks. The Marine Apartments have been there for years. We try to keep things simple and just focus on the research work we have to finish. It is not a place with big signs or flashy lights. Just a regular apartment turned into a workspace. We deal with whatever comes our way and keep the files organized as much as we can. It is a decent place to spend the workday and the neighbors are all very friendly people.
