Iceberg Architects And Interiors

We are based in Teynampet, right on 1st Main Street near SIET College. Our office is in the Seethammal Extension Colony area, which is a nice part of town to work in. Iceberg Architects and Interiors is basically a small group of us who enjoy figuring out how to make buildings look good and work well. We do both the outside architecture and the inside bits, like furniture and lighting. It is a lot of work to coordinate, but we have been at it long enough to have a good system. We are not fancy and we do not have a glossy brochure. Usually, we just show people photos of what we did for the last client on a laptop screen. We spend a lot of time talking to carpenters and masons to make sure they are following the plans we drew. It is not always easy, and sometimes there are mistakes that need fixing, but we stay on top of it. We like working with the locals here in Chennai because we understand the style people want. Whether it is a modern apartment or a more traditional setup, we just try to make it solid and comfortable. Our office is easy to find if you know where the college is. We are usually here from morning until the evening, working on the next set of plans or checking on samples. It is just straightforward design work without any of the ego.
