Ibm

We've been here in Porur for a while now at Ibm. It’s a busy spot, especially with all the construction and the flyover work that never seems to end. Chennai heat is something else, so the AC in the office is pretty much our best friend during the day. Most of us take the bus or ride bikes to get here, and finding parking can be a bit of a headache if you’re late. We mostly just keep our heads down and get through the tickets and projects. There’s a small tea stall just around the corner where we go for breaks when things get too loud inside. It’s nothing fancy, just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of computers. Sometimes the internet acts up, but we manage. Lunch is usually whatever we brought from home or something quick from the nearby shops. It’s a regular workplace with regular people trying to make it through the week. We don’t have any big speeches or anything like that. We just show up, do what needs to be done, and head back home to our families. It gets a bit noisy with the traffic outside, but you get used to it after a week or two. That's pretty much how things go for us here at Ibm in Chennai. It’s a decent place to work and the folks are alright. We don't have fancy furniture or a big lobby, just a practical space where we can sit and focus on the daily tasks.
