Human Resource

Down here on Kariappa Street in Chennai, you'll find our office, which we just call Human Resource. We're in the 600007 area of Tamil Nadu. It's a typical Chennai street, often quite warm and always bustling with some kind of activity. Our building is nothing out of the ordinary. We have a few rooms where we handle all the administrative work. It’s mostly just us and our computers. We don't have a lot of visitors, but when we do, we usually just pull up a spare chair. Human Resource has been operating from Kariappa Street for a long time. We know the neighbors and the local tea shop pretty well. The work isn't always exciting. It involves a lot of record-keeping and talking to people about their jobs. We try to be fair and just get through the pile of work on our desks. There’s no big mission statement on the wall. We just have a calendar and some old files. The humidity can be a bit much sometimes, but we have some fans going. We aren't a big, polished company. We're just a small group of locals working in the heart of Chennai. If you're walking down Kariappa Street, you might miss us if you're not looking carefully. We like it that way. It's quiet enough to get things done without too much fuss. Just a regular day for us.
