Hi-Looks Letter

You will find Hi-Looks Letter on Gangappa Street, right across the road from the A.V.M. Studio in the Vadapalani area. It is a famous neighborhood because of all the film studios and movie history, but our particular street is just a regular local road with people going about their business. We spend most of our time making physical letters and signs out of various materials. It is hard physical work, using our hands and a lot of different hand tools to get the shapes and edges just right. The workshop stays open to the street most of the day, so we get a lot of dust and exhaust noise from the passing cars and bikes. We do not have a front desk or a separate waiting room for visitors. If you want to talk to us about a project, you just walk right into the main workspace. Sometimes we are so busy with the loud saws or the smell of fresh paint that we do not even hear people come in at first. Vadapalani is a very crowded place to live and work, and our shop feels even smaller when we have a big shipment of metal or plastic delivered. We have been doing this for a long time now. The smell of thinner and paint is always hanging in the air here. It is not an easy job, but we like the process of building things.
