Hi Tech Engineering Fabrication

Our shop is out in the Womens Park area of the Thirumudivakkam Sidco Industrial Estate. We occupy plots 17, 18, and 19, so there is quite a bit of room for our fabrication work. Being in Chrompet means we are surrounded by other workshops and factories, so the sound of welding and grinding is pretty much the background noise of our lives. We do a lot of heavy lifting and metal shaping here. The floors are usually covered in some scrap or dust, even though we try to sweep up when we can. It’s a hands-on environment. The guys are usually out on the floor with their gear on, working through the list of projects for the week. We don’t have a big front office or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably find someone at the main gate or near the machines. It gets quite warm in the afternoon, but the high ceilings in the sheds help a bit with the air. We deal with all sorts of fabrication requests. Some are small and simple, while others take weeks to get right. We don’t really have a marketing team or anything; we just take the orders as they come and try to do the job properly. It’s a place where people work hard and focus on the technical side of the metal. Most of our day is spent looking at blueprints or checking the measurements on the parts.
