Hi - Mech Cnc

Hi - Mech Cnc is located over at No. 18 on Kamarajar 1st Cross Street. It’s in the Srinivasa Nagar Extension in Padi. If you know the Padi area, it’s mostly residential and small industrial spots mixed together. Our place is one of those smaller setups where we focus on CNC work. It’s not a very large building, just enough room for the machines and a bit of space to move around without bumping into things. The street can be a bit quiet compared to the main roads, which is nice for focusing. We spend most of our time programming the machines and watching them run through their cycles. It’s a lot of waiting for the work to finish and then checking the parts to make sure they are right. I’ve worked here for a while now and I’ve got the routine down. We start the day early before the sun gets too high and makes the workshop hot. The sound of the machines is pretty constant, a sort of hum and whir that you get used to after a few days of being here. We don't have any fancy reception area for visitors. If you come in, you'll probably see us right there working with the machines. There are often stacks of metal pieces waiting to be worked on sitting near the door. It’s a simple operation really. We don't go for anything flashy, just the work that needs doing every day.
