Helious Medikits

We started Helious Medikits in Kattupakkam because it was close to home. Working out of No. 18/ 1 and 18/ 2 in the Badama Complex isn't fancy, but it gets the job done. Every morning we open the shutters and check the stock. It is mostly medikits for factories and offices around here. Some days are just spent counting bandages and checking expiration dates on the ointments. Mogambigaibi Nagar is a busy spot, so there is always noise from the street outside. We have a few tables where we pack everything by hand. It takes time to make sure nothing is missing from the kits. Sometimes we forget to order more tape and have to scramble. It’s a small operation, really. Just a few of us making sure the kits are ready when someone calls. We don't have a big fancy office with air conditioning in every room. Usually, the door is open to let a breeze in. The complex has a lot of other shops too, so it gets crowded during lunch. We usually eat at the small place around the corner. If you are looking for us, look for the sign near the entrance of the complex. It’s not a very big sign, but you’ll see it. We have been here for a good while now and know most of the neighbors. It’s just how we run things, keeping it simple and making sure the supplies are packed tight in those boxes.
