You can find us at the Kanchin Apartments on Meenakshi Street in Perambur. We are in unit 14 1, which is basically an apartment that we use for our operations here in Chennai. Being in a residential building means things are a bit more laid back than a downtown office. The street can get pretty crowded with people and cows sometimes, which is just how it is in this part of town. Inside, it is just a bunch of desks and some filing cabinets pushed against the walls. We have been here for some time now and the place has a bit of character, though the paint is peeling in a few spots near the ceiling. It is a very local setup. Most of the staff live nearby, so they just walk or take a rickshaw. We don't have a big reception desk or anything. If someone knocks, one of us just gets up to see who it is. We spend our days mostly on the computers or talking on the phones. It gets quite humid, so the fans are always on full blast. There is a small balcony where people go to get some air, but there isn't much of a view besides the other buildings. It’s just a practical, no-nonsense place to get the job done. We are just a small part of Hcl Technologies Ltd doing our bit from this corner of Tamil Nadu. We don't need much more than that.
