Harrison Engineering Works

We are set up in the Sonya Complex over on Vandikaran Road. It is unit 23/1. Maduvankarai is a busy area and there is always something going on outside our door. We do engineering work, mostly the kind of stuff that requires some grease on your elbows. The shop is a bit small, but we make use of every inch we have. We have some old machines that still run better than the new ones you see today. My uncle started this place years ago. He taught me that if you fix it right the first time, you won't see the customer again until they have a completely new problem. That is how we run things. We don't use much marketing because the work usually speaks for itself. Sometimes the lights flicker when we turn on the heavy equipment, but we are used to it by now. The floor is stained with oil and there are metal shavings everywhere. We sweep up every evening, but by the next morning, it is back to business. It is a simple life for us. We help out the local mechanics and builders when they get stuck on a project. There is no big philosophy here. We just like fixing things and making parts that actually fit. If you are coming by, try to park near the main gate of the complex. It is easier than trying to get closer to our door with all the clutter in the lane.
