Hari Krishna Driving School

We have been running Hari Krishna Driving School from No: 41/54 Solaiappan Street in Mylapore for quite a few years. Our place is right near Kesava Perumal Koil, which is a very busy part of Chennai. Teaching someone to drive in the narrow, crowded streets of Mylapore is a real test of patience, both for us and the students. There are always cycles, pedestrians, and cows to watch out for, so it is never a dull moment. We start our lessons early in the morning before the heat gets too bad and the traffic becomes a total mess. Our office is just a simple room where we handle the license forms and talk to new students. We aren't a big chain with hundreds of cars, just a local school that knows these specific roads very well. Most of our students are from the nearby streets or families who have sent all their kids to us over the years. We do not have any flashy advertisements, just the boards on our cars. We focus on making sure people feel comfortable behind the wheel, even when the buses are honking behind them. It is a slow process, but we take it one turn at a time. Solaiappan Street is our home base, and we are usually out on the road from dawn until dusk. It is hard work but seeing someone pass their test makes it worth the effort.
