Guru Siddha Vaidhyasalai/Brahma Jothida Maiyam

We run a bit of a unique place here on Bhakthavatchalam Street in Tambaram West. It is actually two things in one. On one side, we have the Siddha Vaidhyasalai where we deal with traditional medicine. On the other side, we have the Brahma Jothida Maiyam for astrology services. It makes for an interesting mix of people coming in and out all day. Some are looking for help with their health through Siddha practices, and others want to know what their charts say. We are at No 15, and it is a fairly busy street with lots of foot traffic. Tambaram West is a lively area, and we have been a part of it for quite some time. The office is often filled with the smell of traditional herbs and oils. We keep a lot of our supplies in jars on the shelves. It is not a modern, sterile-looking place; it feels more like a traditional home office. We spend our time between consultations and looking at horoscopes. It can be a bit confusing for new visitors, but we just explain how things work. Most of our clients are regulars who have been coming to us for years. We aren't interested in being a big corporate entity. We just like our spot here on the street and enjoy the work we do with the local community.
