Guru Events

Guru Events is a small operation located on Daniel Street in Perunagalathur. We are at number six, which is just a short walk from the RMK Nagar Ground. You can often hear people playing cricket or football over there while we are working. It’s a very grounded part of Chennai and we like the atmosphere. Our day-to-day usually involves a lot of logistics and talking to people about their upcoming events. We don't have a big corporate office with glass walls. Instead, we have a simple space where we can get things done without too much fuss. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet acts up, but we just work around it like everyone else does. We are just regular people who happened to get into the event business. We spend a lot of time on our feet, going back and forth between different locations. When we are at the office, we are mostly on the phone or looking at calendars. It’s not always exciting, but it’s what we know how to do. The people around Daniel Street are friendly and we feel like part of the furniture here now. We don’t make big promises or use marketing talk. We just tell people what we can do and then we go out and do it. It’s a simple way to run things, and it works for us and the people who hire us for their events.
