Finding us on Loco Works Road isn’t too hard if you know the Agaram area. We are at No 22/32, right in the middle of Jawahar Nagar. The building itself is an older one, but it’s sturdy and keeps the sun out during those really hot Chennai afternoons. Most of the people working here have lived in this part of the city their whole lives. We keep track of a lot of paperwork and records. It’s the kind of job that requires sitting at a desk for long stretches, checking numbers and making sure everything matches up. We don't have a big reception area or a sign that lights up. It’s more of a place where people come when they have something specific to sort out. Sometimes the traffic on the road outside gets loud, especially with the trains nearby, but you get used to it after a week or two. We usually bring our own lunch and eat together in the small back room. There’s a tea stall just a few doors down that everyone goes to around four o’clock. It’s a very routine kind of place. We don't try to be something we’re not. We just show up, do the filing, update the ledgers, and head home when the clock hits five. It’s been this way for a long time, and we like the rhythm of it. Gpf At Chennai is just a quiet place where we get our work done.
