You can find us at number 8 on Varadharaj Perumal Kovil Street in Tondiarpet. We are quite close to the Murugan Dhanush Kodi Girls School, which is a landmark most people in this neighborhood know well. The street can get a bit narrow when the school lets out, so it’s usually better to come by a bit earlier or later if you’re driving. We’ve got a small space here where we focus on teaching. It isn’t anything too special to look at, just some tables and chairs and a couple of boards on the walls. We spend most of our afternoons and evenings helping students with their lessons. There’s always a bit of dust from the chalk and the sound of the ceiling fans clicking away. We don’t use any high-tech gadgets, just textbooks and notebooks. People from around Tondiarpet come to us because we are close to home for them. We try to keep things straightforward. If a student is struggling with a particular chapter, we sit down and go through it line by line until they get it. It’s a lot of manual work, honestly. We don’t have a big reception area or anything like that. You just walk in and we get to work. Some days it gets quite hot in here, but we keep the windows open. It’s just a local place for learning, nothing more than that. We just enjoy seeing the students finally understand a difficult topic after working at it.
