You can find Gnv Advertising & Printing over in the Ayapakkam area. We are located at number 6270 in the TNHB Scheme section. It’s an MIG type house that we’ve converted into our own little workspace. We’re right by the big water tank and across from the police booth, so you really can’t miss the place. It has a bit of a residential feel here, which we actually like. The machines take up most of our space, so it can get a bit loud inside when we have a big print run going. We do all sorts of things, from small flyers to larger signs for shops. It’s just us working here, trying to make sure the colors look right and the paper is good quality for the price. Sometimes the humidity in Ayapakkam messes with the ink drying, but we’ve learned how to deal with that over the years. It’s not a polished agency with a fancy lobby; it’s more of a workshop where things actually get made by hand. We spend a lot of time cleaning the print heads and moving heavy boxes around. People from the neighborhood usually just walk in with their files on a phone or a thumb drive. We don't do any big marketing for ourselves. The work just comes in from people who live nearby or saw a sign we made for someone else in the market. It’s a steady pace for us.
