Global Design & Prints

We are located on Triplicane High Road, specifically at New No 50, which used to be Old No 330. It's right near Adam Market, so it's always very busy outside our door. Triplicane is a place with a lot of history, and we’ve been part of it for some time at Global Design & Prints. We do all sorts of printing, from business cards to larger posters. The shop is usually full of the smell of paper and ink. It’s a small space, so we have to be organized, though it doesn’t always look that way. We get all kinds of people coming in, from students to old business owners who have been in the market for decades. We don't have a big corporate setup. It's just a few of us working the machines and helping people with their layouts. Sometimes the traffic on High Road makes it hard for deliveries to arrive, but we make do. We like the energy of the area. It feels alive. We aren't looking to change the world, just trying to make sure the prints look decent and the colors are what the customer wanted. Most of our work comes from word of mouth. Someone tells their friend about us, and they show up a week later. That’s how we like to do things. It’s more personal that way, and it means we don't have to worry about fancy brochures or marketing plans, we just focus on the printing.
