We are located over at Raj Garden in Kodambakkam, specifically at No. 1, Subramanyanagar Main Road. It’s a busy area of Chennai, so there is always noise from the street and people moving about. This particular spot, S-2, is where we handle a lot of the administrative side of things for the college. If you know Chennai, you know how Kodambakkam can get during rush hour, but we’ve grown used to it over the years. We spend our mornings looking over student records and making sure the engineering and technology side of things is actually moving forward. It’s a lot of sitting at desks and dealing with the heat, though we have the fans going most of the time. People come in and out all day asking questions about classes or exams. We aren't trying to be some big, cold institution. Most of the staff here have been around for quite a bit, so we know the regulars who stop by. The office is tucked away in the flats, so it feels more like a part of the neighborhood than a stiff school building. We keep things pretty simple here. There’s usually a stack of papers waiting to be signed and someone always has a cup of coffee on their desk. It’s just how we operate. We focus on getting the students what they need so they can get back to their studies without too much fuss from us.
