You can find us down in the basement of Marina Square on Santhome High Road. We are right across from the Santhome High School. It is a busy spot in Mylapore. We spend a lot of our time in the kitchen, prepping for different events. Being in a basement means we do not see much sun during the shift, but it keeps us focused on the cooking. We handle a lot of local functions, like small weddings or family get-togethers. There is always a lot of rice to cook and vegetables to chop. We are not a big fancy operation; we just have our pots, our pans, and our recipes. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic when a big order comes in at the last minute, but we have learned how to handle the rush. We take care of everything from the cooking to getting the food to the venue. Most of our regulars are from the neighborhood who know our style. We do not do anything too complicated, just good food that people are used to. It is hard work, standing for long hours and making sure the taste is consistent. We just keep doing what we do, day after day. If we are not cooking, we are cleaning or planning for the next day's menu. It is a simple life in the kitchen, making sure every plate is ready.
