Gee Vee Engineering

Our workshop is at No 182 Dharkas Road in the Naduveerapattu area. Our workshop is a functional space dedicated to various metalwork and engineering jobs. When you walk in, the first thing you will notice is the heavy smell of cutting oil and the sound of the lathes turning. It is not the kind of place where you want to wear nice clothes because there is always some grease or metal shavings around. We spend our days at the machines, carefully working on different parts for our customers. It is a lot of standing and checking measurements with calipers to make sure everything is just right. We do not have a fancy reception desk; we usually just talk to people right there on the shop floor while we are working. The building is simple, with high ceilings and not much in the way of decoration. We have a few old fans that hum in the background to try and keep the air moving. Most of our work comes from people who have been coming to us for years and know they can count on us for a basic, solid job. We do not have a big corporate team, just some skilled hands who know how to run the equipment. It is a quiet street outside, but inside we are always busy with something. We just focus on the machines and getting the work done by the end of the day. We clean up the bigger messes before locking up, but the place always feels like a real workshop.
